Ingrid GaviganAdministrative Assistant

Ms. Gavigan assists with a variety of client administrative and accounting services. Ms. Gavigan was admitted into the Whittier Scholars’ Program and graduated with academic distinction from Whittier College with a Bachelor of Arts degree entitled Studies in Modern Europe. The self-designed degree combined classes in art history, history and sociology and focused on the social and historical contexts of art in Europe during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. For the past three years, Ms. Gavigan has worked as an office assistant for Gavigan & Company, a CPA firm in Pasadena, CA, and for the Departments of Art History and Modern Languages on the campus at Whittier College. Ms. Gavigan has traveled to Botswana, Africa to build houses in a small village with a group of volunteers from all over the world. Currently, Ms. Gavigan is studying and preparing for her entry into law school.

Caroline Reader

Caroline ReaderFiduciary Assistant

Ms. Reader assists with a breadth of operational and accounting services. As a former business owner, full-time caregiver, accounting assistant, bookkeeper, personal organizer, home organizer, and landscaper, Ms. Reader’s skills and experience are ideally suited for the diverse needs of Foster Thornton’s clients. Ms. Reader is currently studying to become a California Licensed Professional Fiduciary. She graduated Cum Laude from California State University, San Marcos, with a degree in social science. Ms. Reader also studied business, finance and accounting at other California State University campuses, and landscape design at San Diego Mesa College.
